AMSTERDAM: IN MY BEAUTY BAG...

I went to Amsterdam for a week and tried to pack as lightly as possible. It's probably still a lot to some people, but I've used everything besides the dry shampoo. I didn't pack any make up items, because I was suffering from some serious break outs and decided to let my skin breathe instead of clogging it up with make up! I'm not going to review everything, I'm just going to mention two items that I absolutely hated and two items that I adored during my stay in beautiful Amsterdam!

WHAT I DISLIKED: Udo Walz Berlin shampoo and conditioner
I bought this shampoo and conditioner because I wanted to take travel-sized products with me and those were the only "brand" products available. The shampoo didn't work very well and even though I washed my hair three times in one go and used the conditioner  afterwards I still had hair spray stuck in my hair. That has never happened to me before and I was super annoyed. The conditioner didn't work too well either. My hair remained super dry and I was cursig myself for not taking my beloved Dove conditioner with me.

WHAT I LOVED:  Nivea invisible for black and white deodorant
It's my all time favourite deodorant and I love everything about it: The smell, the conistency, the way it works. Perfect! I would never go anywhere without it!

ZARA PERFUMES

ZARA EVENING COLLECTION EAU DE TOILETTE INTENSE 30 ML (€ 7.95)
ZARA FEMME EAU DE TOILETTE 50 ML & 10 ML (€ 10.95)

ZARA TEXTURES EAU DE TOILETTE NATURAL SPRAY 50 ML (€ 8.95)
ZARA FOR HER EAU DE TOILETTE NATURAL SPRAY 50 ML (€ 6.95)

I never planned on buying these as I originally went to Zara for clothes. However, that day was not a very successful one in terms of fashion shopping. As a little remedy and because I love perfumes I decided to have a look (or actually a sniff) around the perfumes. I ended up buying four scents which seems a lot, but I've honestly (or tried to) restrict(ed) myself. I almost also bought Miami which was conveniently placed at the cashier desk (and would make a great replacement for my beloved Rockin' Rio by Escada), but I forced myself to not pick that one up, too. It smelled really good though which makes me question my decision.

(1) ZARA EVENING COLLECTION EAU DE TOILETTE INTENSE
My sister's first comment upon this perfume was "that looks like a piece of soap or something". She was referring to the outer packaging and I can't disagree with that. The perfume is fitting its name quite well: It smells somewhat sophisticated (which sounds weird, but I can't seem to describe it any other way). When I smell its scent it reminds me of women walking through a posh bar or restaurant. It's the perfect scent for going to a bar, a restaurant or the cinema. The more I smell it, the less I can believe that I only paid € 7.95 for it. It definitely smells more expensive.

(2) ZARA FEMME EAU DE TOILETTE
Let's be honest here: I was drawn to this one by the lovely packaging and the pretty bottle. This one smells quite sophisticated as well, but less nighttime. It's a little lighter on the scent and quite perfect for a shopping tour with a friend or a lunch date. I love that it's not so in your face, but at the same time smells super nice which definitely would make me turn my head if someone walked past me. It's a classy smell that I probably won't grow out of anytime soon. As if all of this wouldn't make this a lovely perfume, it actually comes with a baby perfume that you can take with you while you're out. How awesome is that?

(3) ZARA TEXTURES EAU DE TOILETTE NATURAL SPRAY
This one was grabbed by me once again due to the cute packaging. And the inside of the little box is actually even cuter! Even though I love perfumes I have no idea what exactly the difference between a regular eau de toilette and an eau de toilette natural spray is (if anybody knows, please educate me!). The scent of this one is a bit more intense than the Femme one and honestly the one I'm not so sure about anymore. It smells fresher than the two previous ones, but I can't quiet place what it smells like. It's definitely more of a everyday smell in the sense that you could easily where this to university.

(4) ZARA FOR HER EAU DE TOILETTE NATURAL SPRAY
I absolutley adore the For Her scent, it's the sweetest smelling one out of the bunch I've picked up. Just like the Textures one I would class it as an everyday scent. It's stronger than the Textures one and smells a bit... soapy?! Not sure what it is, but the more I think about it... it really does smell a bit like a very nice soap that you've used and makes you want to smell your hands all the time.

If I had to pick my favourites out of these four, it would go for the Evening Collection and Femme ones.
